The mission of the East Texas Psychology Internship Consortium (EtPIC) pre-doctoral internship program is to train emerging health service psychologists to provide compassionate, high-quality, ethical, and accessible mental health services across rural East Texas. Uniting Connections Counseling & Psychological Services and Kranz Psychological Services, our program is dedicated to preparing interns to honor every client’s unique background, identify both presenting struggles and inherent strengths, and foster resilience across underserved rural populations. Through rigorous clinical training, evidence-based practice, scholarly inquiry, and dedicated mentorship across our consortium sites, EtPIC equips interns with the core competencies needed for impactful careers in health service psychology while expanding behavioral health equity throughout East Texas.
